THE STORY BEHIND DOUBLE T WATERFOWL
Built on hardwork. driven by passion.
Building Double T Waterfowl has allowed me to turn something I love into something I can take pride in. As the owner, I believe in hard work, keeping my word, and holding myself to high standards.
Those values guide me on how I run my business and how I treat the people who trust me with their hunts. My goal is to build a business that clients can trust, return to, and can confidently recommend to others.
I'm proud of what Double T Waterfowl has become, and excited to see what's ahead while staying true to the values it was built on.

OUR FOUNDATION
A Passion Turned Into a Buisness
What started as a love for the outdoors has grown into a business that means a great deal to me. Building Double T Waterfowl has taught me the importance of staying true to my values, earning clients trust, taking pride in the work we do, and reputation built.
My goal has never been simply to build a business for today, but to establish a legacy that continues to grow and earn its reputation over time. Every year brings new opportunities, new challenges, and another chance to make Double T better than it was the year before.
Meet The Team

Tristan Truhlicka
Founder & Owner
I grew up in a small-town south of Lubbock, Texas, called New Home where hunting and the outdoors became a way of life from an early age. Ive had a gun in my hand since I was old enough to walk. With a lifetime of Experience Hunting in West Texas it has taught me what it takes to prepare and adapt for every possible scenario to put our clients in the best position for a successful hunt.

Ayden Allen
Head guide
My name is Ayden Allen and Ive been guiding waterfowl since 2022. My passion for outdoors and hunting started at the age of 5, since then the passion has turned into an obsession. I grew up hunting upland birds with my grandfather and deer with my Dad, when I moved to Lubbock in 2016 I quickly realized I needed to learn how to waterfowl hunt. Today I have spent the last 10 years learning everything there is about West Texas waterfowl.

Drake
Bird dog
A driven and loyal dog that is dedicated to doing what he loves. He is a very important part of our team. Drake is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever; his breed is built for the demands of our West Texas cold winters. He is part of what makes our time in the field special. We're proud to have him along our side.
